I haven't read into this, but I believe that it takes a while for a cat to mature into liking catnip. One day it seemed the kittens went from being totally uninterested in the stuff, to being addicts. My mom sent these cute little Christmas catnip mice for St. Nicks Day for the cats (I think she wants grandkids, in the mean time, the kittens will benefit from this desire) and immediately destroyed the white one. I love this sequence of Sara making faces at our baby cousin Jesse June. She's had baby fever forever and right before Christmas she told us all that she's pregnant! I can't wait to be an aunt (pronounced by me as ANT, because I am NOT really from Minnesota) and make faces at her baby.
I miss the time we spent in Sonoma. I meant to take a picture of this numerous times during our time in Glen Ellen, but eventually I ended up taking this on our way to Mendocino

the poop toucher himself... This picture is really amusing to me, and I think it looks cool too... hence the decision to chose it for our POTD.
it's fun putting myself into new photographic situations. I was using my wide angle 12-24 Tokina Lens f/4. f/4! I am SO not used to that, considering my 50mm (which admitedly is a weeny lens) is a f/1.4. So i pumped up my iso and switched between shutter priority and manual. I got some fun shots, like my last post, a picture of the dancer Becky, aka Booty. It's hard not to take loads of pictures of the dancer, but I did manage to get some pictures of other band members s well.
