Texas

As some of you may know, I had to make a quick trip down to Mansfield, Texas last week. I'll focus on the reasons behind that in my next blog entry, but since everyone has been waiting for so long, I'll just drop off this fun picture. There were bread crumbs and sunflower seeds to feed the fish (in the pond, which for whatever reason, is called a Tank... a very large tank I guess, since I was man-made). The normally walkable trip to the tank has been taken over by wild flowers and "pasture" (ie, SNAKES!!!) so the golf cart had to be used. My 14 year old cousin Andrew (who is also 6'4"... [and you though I developed early]) enjoyed the fact that he was allowed to drive the golf cart, Meredith enjoyed hitching a ride, and my brother Benesh is always up for an adventure. I knew it would be a good picture. I just wish you could see the wind-mill too.

For non-photo related fun, this German website is SO up my alley. From what I understand (from the two years of German I took over 10 years ago... oh god, I'm aging!) these are package pictures versus what the real food looks like. Hit the button that says nächstes >> for more images. I bet I could do this with TJ's food and create quite a following
