Okay, I like it when bands I like get national attention from big brand name companies.

I've seen Mates of State on what I think was a Verizon Ad, The Shins did a McDonald's add many years back and now I have to say "well played" to the Magnetic Fields. If I was in a band and some company offered be big bucks to use my song, I would probably do it. I would then take that money to do the things I loved, and never worry about paying rent doing it.

I would be a sell out by choice.
